The Embassy Valletta Hotel ★★★★

Super nice hotel with super friendly and welcoming staff, absolutely recommended! We arrived early and left our luggage at the reception for exploring the city before check-in

We had some noise from the street in the evening, but hey, it’s the centre of Valletta! The breakfast room was also a bit noisy.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Embassy Valletta Hotel for a three-day getaway from Friday to Monday, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Valletta, this hotel proved to be the perfect base for our Maltese adventure. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and professionalism of the hotel staff were evident. The reception team, in particular, impressed us with their genuine hospitality and eagerness to assist. They were always on hand, ready to offer insightful advice on the must-see attractions in Valletta, and their recommendations for dining were impeccable – leading us to savor delightful meals that suited our tastes perfectly at nearby restaurants. As for the accommodation itself, the rooms exuded elegance with their stylish decor, complemented by breathtaking views of the city and sea that greeted us each morning. The attention to detail was apparent, with the addition of L'Occitane products in the bathroom being a delightful touch that did not go unnoticed. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. A diverse and delicious spread served by the pool on the rooftop provided a sensational start to the day, coupled with the panoramic vistas that made each morning a special experience in itself. If we find ourselves in Valletta again, there is no question that we will return to The Embassy Valletta Hotel. For those seeking a stay that combines luxury, location, and top-notch service, we wholeheartedly recommend this exquisite establishment. The lift went straight to the cinema without changing building and considering it was freezing that night it was so comfortable!! Found prosecco waiting for us in the room - it was such a nice surprise

Everything about this hotel is amazing! Great location in the heart of old town of Valletta. Nice, clean and cosy rooms. Pool and restaurant on the top are just perfect. Food was very tasty and there was plenty options for breakfast. Professional and welcoming staff. Huge recommendation for this place!!

Great location in Valetta. Perfect for being able to walk around and eat before heading out to the rest of the island. The room has a good amount of space, the bathroom is nice, everything was clean and comfortable. Valetta has very fun night life on the weekends including lots of outdoor music. Could be loud if you are a light sleeper but it finished around midnight so nothing too crazy. Christmas market was just outside of Valetta. There was another in Rabat that we visited as well. Very cute overall.

Central location in the old city. Easy walk to all the sights. Comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooftop restaurant and bar has lovely views across the city and harbour. Short taxi ride from airport

Room temperature was set too high for us initially but staff immediately arranged for it to be set lower when we asked

Uncomfortable huge pillows, seems to be a European thing , a little mix up with the cleaner and a request I put to the receptionist.. My room faced into an inner courtyard, no view

The rooms and decor of the hotel are really modern and comfortable

I really enjoyed the stay apart from the time I spent in the roof top bar. It was good for breakfast but when I went there for lunch or a drink in the evening it was quite chaotic and not a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were nice but the supervisors seemed to regularly loudly give out to them for small errors such as settings on tables in front of guests which I found uncomfortable and unprofessional. I also went for a cocktail on the evening and couldn’t finish it, I believe the bar staff may need some cocktail making training.

The Embassy Valletta hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of the center, which is very convenient. The view from the rooftop / bar is breathtaking. Big compliment to the staff who were always helpful and pleasant to interact with. The room was very nice and tidy, just without the great view we were hoping for. Overall we loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Except for the disappointing room view (inner garden), we have no complaints.
